5 月 23 跨域學術講座：菲利普．包曼（Philip V. Bohlman）教授「聽見跨域：當下的歷史與過去的民族誌」(On Hearing the Transdisciplinary: Histories of the Present, Ethnographies of the Past)
本活動為跨域所辦理跨域學術講座，非常榮幸邀請到邀請到國際知名美國民族音樂學者菲利普·包曼（Philip V. Bohlman）教授主講，機會難得，歡迎對音樂史學與民族音樂研究有興趣的朋友踴躍參加。
講者簡介：
菲利普·包曼（Philip V. Bohlman）
包曼是芝加哥大學的 Ludwig Rosenberger 傑出服務教授，同時也是德國漢諾威音樂、戲劇與媒體大學的榮譽教授。他在伊利諾大學取得碩士與博士學位，並於2019年獲羅馬尼亞布加勒斯特國立音樂大學頒授榮譽博士學位。
他的研究關注音樂與種族、民族主義及殖民遭遇之間的交會與互動。近年的著作包括：《群眾之愛的歌》（與赫爾德合著，加州大學出版社，2017年）、《我們怎能在異地高唱主的歌？》（LIT出版社，2019年）、《世界音樂：極簡導論》（修訂版，牛津大學出版社，2020年）、《沃洛克拉姆斯克大街》（布魯姆斯伯里出版社，2021年）。此外，他與新布達佩斯俄耳甫斯社合作製作的專輯《夢碎之時：猶太舞台與電影音樂的黃金時代，1925–1955》（Cedille，2014年）獲得2015年葛萊美獎提名。
他的著作曾獲得多項殊榮，包括 Derek Allen 獎、Bruno Nettl 獎與 Ruth Solie 獎。
Philip V. Bohlman is Ludwig Rosenberger Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago and Honorarprofessor at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover. He took his MM and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, and he received a doctor honoris causa from the Romanian National University of Music Bucharest (2019). His research addresses the intersections of music with race, nationalism, and colonial encounter. Among recent books are Song Loves the Masses (with J. G. Herder; California 2017), Wie sängen wir Seinen Gesang auf dem Boden der Fremde! (LIT 2019), World Music: A Very Short Introduction (rev. ed.; Oxford 2020), Wolokolamsker Chaussee (Bloomsbury 2021), and with the New Budapest Orpheum Society the 2015 Grammy Award-nominated CD, As Dreams Fall Apart: The Golden Age of Jewish Stage and Film Music, 1925–1955 (Cedille 2014). For his books he has received the Derek Allen Prize, the Bruno Nettl Prize, and the Ruth Solie Prize. He is co-producer of the forthcoming documentary film, The Kolkata Piano Shop, one of several recent ethnographic projects he has undertaken in India. He is the recipient of the 2022 International Balzan Prize in Ethnomusicology.

3.本活動採取實聯制方式登記，因活動場地之限制開放人數有限，將以(1)本所學生(2)本校學生(3)校外人士 報名之優先順序錄取現場觀眾，錄取後以email進行通知，未錄取者則不另行通知。
4.本活動校內學生可免費參與，校外人士酌收50元(本所校友8折優惠)場地清潔費(款項將捐入臺藝大跨域表演藝術研究所，開立收據)。
